Amber Morris is an educator and artist living and working in Iowa City, IA. She has a hand in many art schemes and dreams around the community through her work with The Iowa Children’s Museum.
Her art practice is based on slow, tedious yet meditative tasks that playfully combine vibrant colors, rouge mark making and storytelling. Her recent work is primarily embroidered portraits but also dabbles in illustration, mapmaking and film editing.
