Megg Fisher
is a creative living in Iowa City, IA. She earned her BFA with Honors in Sculpture from The University of Iowa.
A consummate dabbler, Megg never met an art supply she didn’t want to get to know better. Installation, multi-media work, and painting are her primary modalities. Much of the art she makes is about the concept of home, the experience of motherhood, and the meaning of lineage. She also enjoys exploring various shared histories.
In between her day job at UI and parenting two teenagers, Megg likes to create new organizational systems while binging podcasts. She also enjoys anarchic gardening, cooking by the seat of her pants, and exploring overlooked towns.
