Membership

We are currently not accepting applications. Our Gamma Test Session will run from July 20th to October 16th. We will be taking a break for the rest of the year and start back up January 2021. Please stay tuned via our social media channels to get notified about our events and upcoming sessions!


Membership is $5 per month, which covers the cost of Art Office’s Zoom Pro account, WordPress website and domain. Membership fees are subject to change as the organization grows.

In order to apply, you must meet the following criteria:

You are an independent artist. You may also work for a firm, in a collective, or as part of a team, etc. but this program is specifically for your own practice– whether that be personal projects, commissioned work, freelance gigs, or independent contracting.

You struggle to self-motivate. You can fall anywhere along the spectrum, as long as you land on it somewhere.

You are willing and able to participate in the program. Internet access is required for participation, as well as a basic understanding of Zoom, Facebook, Instagram, Slack, and TimeTracker.

You work well around others. While eccentric personalities and mild annoyances are part of every office, professionalism and respect are expected from all staff members, all the time.

You are able to attend the majority of Art Office meetings. Weekly meetings occur Mondays and Fridays at 7:00PM CST, and Open Studio Hours are weekly on Wednesdays from 12:00-2:00PM CST.


Qualifying artists are selected for membership based on diversity of creative practice, gender/sexual orientation, age, experience, race/culture/heritage, and religion/spiritual practice/lack thereof.
